Augie Bones are not made with anynylon or traditional plastics. No PP, no PE, No nylon, no PET, no ABS. Just plant based, biobased, biodegradable, and compostable materials. Augie Bones are primarily made from PLA (polylactic acid) which is made from cornstarch cellulose. Other ingredients come from biobased, biodegradable, and compostable materials.

Augie Bones are specifically formulated to chewexactlylike typical popular tough nylon/plastic dog toys. Dogs whittle away at an Augie Bone in the same way. We didnt want dogs to have a different chewing experience from what they already love. Just a healthier one. We dont coat our toys, the AAFCO certified hypoallergenic flavoring for Augie Bones is blended throughout the entire bone, so dogs get a flavorful chew from start to finish.
